Clusterlingua holds the first Smart Multilingual Cities Meeting

20 nov Clusterlingua holds the first Smart Multilingual Cities Meeting

The Smart Multilingual Cities Meeting is being held at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2013 in Barcelona and aims to establish synergies between ICT companies and those that provide multilingual solutions for the development of smart cities.

The aim is to start heading down a joint smart-multilingualism route with industries and institutions that are looking for smart solutions to improve sustainability and people’s quality of life.

Synergies between the ITC sectors, language industries and smart city technological applications are necessary, useful and viable.

According to Clusterlingua, smart cities will be the largest providers of multilingual content for businesses and citizens. Barcelona could be the ideal laboratory for testing out multilingual solutions for mobiles, smart cities and the Internet of Things, as it already hosts the three most important world conferences in each of these areas.
